EYESat a glance
peter has more of an idea about what's going on around him than he lets on, but has a tendency to come across as arrogant, sarcastic and glib. he has a reputation for being unpredictable and for not thinking before he acts, lending himself to half-thought through plans and ill-advised actions. he tends to act in the name of what he thinks is best and will get the right results β he wants to save the galaxy but his own biases and guilt about past actions can get in the way of good decisions. however, he's very good at playing the long-game and is intensely self-sacrificial.
as a v. quick summary, he's reckless, fiercely protective, very morally grey, short tempered, highly emotional, a fucking idiot and prone to loneliness and self-sabotage. canon point
in general, i tend to gravitate to defaulting somewhere handy to the beginning of cates' run/after the events of infinity wars or circa the DnA run/post-thanos imperative. however, i'm totally flexible and happy to adapt to best suit the scenario we're playing or have in mind, unless you're gunning for bendis/humphries-era quill, in which case i don't think our playing preferences are going to align.
visualCHRIS SAMNEE's quill, please — blonde, slightly wavy hair, stubble, slightly unkempt. someone that's fit but doesn't spend time in a gym because life on a pretty shitty spaceship doesn't lend itself to living the high life, y'know? as per every single (good to semi-decent) guardians run, quill's propensity for being a functional human being 100% depends on what's going on his life and who he's got around him.
like — "peter, I know you're in space so time and showers are hard, but it's four in the morning and you look like @#$%" is a running theme.
aka if his life's going to shit and he doesn't have, like, the rest of the guardians around him, or rich, or something to focus his attention on that isn't his tendency to self-sabotage and/or make questionable life decisions, he's going to look a little more like he needs to get some sleep, have a fucking shower and maybe drink a little less.
clothes are expressly utilitarian and form-fitting — muted colours, blacks, dark greys and blues; long-sleeve t-shirts and cargo pants, work boots and his STAR-LORD jacket ( art: kris anka ).
